Feeding Your Labradoodle
When your labradoodle puppy arrives he will have been eating twice a day (breakfast and dinner). You should have already received a sample bag in your labradoodle puppy’s welcome home kit. The amount to feed your labradoodle puppy will depend on the size of the labradoodle puppy. A labradoodle puppy weighing less than three pounds will need approximately 1/4 cup of good quality labradoodle puppy food at each meal.
As they grow and age, dogs require different amounts of food so remain aware of your dog's body weight checking it every couple of weeks and adjust the amount accordingly. Allow about 20 min. for your labradoodle puppy to eat. Uneaten food should be taken up between feedings.
Fresh water should be given with every meal and at noon and before taking out at bedtime. Fresh water should also be given during and after periods of exercise. Regulating when water is given will help in housebreaking your labradoodle puppy.
